Delete your SingoLingo account

This page explains how to permanently delete your SingoLingo account and the associated data controlled by SingoLingo.

Fastest option: open SingoLingo, go to Settings, choose Delete My Data, and confirm Delete. You can also request deletion by email if you cannot access the app.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the SingoLingo app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete My Data.
  4. Review the deletion notice and select Delete.

The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you keep using the app afterward, SingoLingo may create a new anonymous account that is not connected to the deleted account.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access SingoLingo, email the developer at hello@learnspanishwithmusic.app with the subject SingoLingo account deletion. Include enough information to help us locate your account, such as the platform you used and any account identifier visible in the app. Do not send passwords or payment-card information.

We may ask for limited additional information to verify that the request relates to your account. We will process verified requests as required by applicable law and confirm when the deletion is complete.

3. Data deleted with your account

The deletion process removes data controlled by SingoLingo that is linked to the account, including:

  • your Firebase authentication account;
  • your primary Firestore user profile and cloud learning progress;
  • song ratings and feedback stored in our database;
  • saved learning progress and selected learning data stored on the device; and
  • the SingoLingo identifiers used to connect the account to supported analytics, attribution, and purchase services where technically available.

4. Data that may be retained

Some information may remain for a limited period when needed for security, fraud prevention, support, dispute resolution, legal or accounting obligations, or reliable backup rotation. This can include support correspondence, store purchase records, aggregated or de-identified analytics, and records held independently by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Microsoft, Meta, or another service provider under that provider's retention policy.

We retain such records only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law. They are not used to restore the deleted SingoLingo account. For more detail, read our Privacy Policy.

5. Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions

Deleting your SingoLingo account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple or Google store subscription settings to prevent future renewals.
